R&B Ride
Brief
With a combination of songs that form one vibe, design an album cover to function for both traditional and digital means of playing music.
R&B Ride is a classy fictional album with a mixture of jazz, pop, soul, and r&b influences—a perfect fit for a night drive through the city where music leaks from the bars to the streets.
The flower design was inspired by the sophisticated table setting of luxury city bars and speakeasies with neon colors to reference the modernity and pop of the music. The sharp, abstracted shape language references the geometric forms often associated with jazz.
